EDGE

EDGE Camp (Entering 9th – 12th grades)

Up to fourteen EDGE campers will live in BCH’s lakeside bunkhouse for a week (or two) of “living on the edge.” Campers will experience being a part of a tight-knit community whose focus is on challenging both personal and group limits. EDGE programs strive to give campers the knowledge and confidence to star in their own group-led adventures, while providing the skills and experience necessary to make those adventures last a lifetime.

  • Experience EDGE (For 9th – 11th graders)
    $660/week

1-week program that provides campers with a beginner to intermediate level adventure camp experience. Campers will sample a few different types of outdoor adventures including use of the high and low ropes course, a day hike up Mount Monadnock, paddling to Otter Point and an overnight trek to Otter Outpost.

Session 1: Sunday, June 25th – Friday, June 30th
Session 2: Sunday, July 2nd – Friday, July 7th
Session 5: Sunday, July 23rd – Friday, July 28th

  • Lead EDGE (2 week session for 10th – 12th graders)
    $1320

2-week program for teens who are seeking a more in-depth adventure experience. Campers will learn the “ropes” of outdoor adventure: gear and equipment preparation, knots and belaying, back-country travel, leave-no-trace skills, route planning and campsite preparation. Campers will then embark on day hikes, a 3-day backpacking excursion and an overnight rock climbing trip.

This program requires an additional camper application for approval by the EDGE Director. This application is included in the online registration process or can be downloaded HERE. Because of the challenging nature of this session, Lead EDGE campers are required to have either attended an Experience EDGE session during a previous summer, or a similar adventure program at a different camp.

Sessions 3 + 4: Sunday, July 9th – Friday, July 21st
* Campers stay at camp over the weekend of July 14th – 16th
